Swampy Appleseed

I grew up in deep southeastern Georgia where mushrooms decorate the woods almost year-round. They seem to appear overnight in huge numbers every time it rains, coming in unimaginable shapes, sizes, and colors. While they are a prolific part of our environment, fungi have not been accepted into southern culture.
